A Road and Warehouse Concreting Project in Cherven Bryag, Bulgaria

Located in Cherven Bryag, Bulgaria, this project was carried out by Strabag, with Palfinger as the customer. The project consisted of a total area of 5000 m2, including both a road and a warehouse.

For the road, a concrete slab thickness of 200 mm was used with a concrete grade of C30/37. Macrofiber ArmoTec 40mm was added at a ratio of 3.0 kg/m3 to enhance the durability and strength of the concrete. To allow for expansion and contraction, saw-cut expansion joints measuring 6m by 6m were incorporated into the design.

Similarly, the warehouse was built with a concrete slab thickness of 21 cm and a concrete grade of C35/45. Macrofiber ArmoTec 40mm was again used at a ratio of 3.0 kg/m3 to reinforce the concrete and ensure its longevity. Saw-cut expansion joints measuring 6m by 6m were also used to provide flexibility and accommodate any movement that may occur over time.

Thanks to the use of Macrofiber ArmoTec 40mm, the concrete in both the road and the warehouse was able to achieve greater strength and durability, which in turn helps to reduce maintenance costs and extend the life of the structure. The project was completed successfully, meeting the requirements and expectations of the customer.
