Fiber Reinforcement for the Shynnyi Industrial Technopark in Dnipro
FiberMix is proud to contribute to the development of the Shynnyi Industrial Technopark in Dnipro, one of the large-scale industrial infrastructure projects in the region. As part of the construction works, modern fiber reinforcement solutions are being used to improve the performance, durability, and crack resistance of concrete structures.
The Shynnyi Technopark is being developed on an industrial site of approximately 62 hectares and is planned to include modern warehouse, production, office, and infrastructure facilities. Due to the scale and intended use of the complex, the concrete structures and industrial floors must be capable of withstanding substantial mechanical loads, intensive traffic, and long-term operational demands.
The concrete pouring works at the site are carried out by our partner, KMKSTROY LLC. For additional reinforcement of the concrete mix, the project uses a combination of Polymesh 38 mm fiber at a dosage of 1 kg per cubic meter and FiberMix 12 mm microfiber at 0.5 kg per cubic meter of concrete.

Application of Fiber Reinforcement in Industrial Construction
The combination of these two reinforcement solutions provides a comprehensive approach to improving the properties of concrete. Polymesh 38 mm contributes to the reinforcement of the concrete structure, helping increase its resistance to cracking and mechanical stresses. The shorter FiberMix 12 mm microfiber is distributed throughout the concrete mixture and helps control the formation of microcracks during the early stages of concrete hardening.
Fiber reinforcement is particularly useful in large industrial construction projects where concrete surfaces are exposed to continuous loads. Industrial floors may be subjected to the weight of equipment, warehouse machinery, vehicles, stored goods, and repeated mechanical impact. Using polypropylene fibers helps improve the overall durability of concrete and supports the long-term performance of the finished structures.
Another important advantage of fiber reinforcement is its uniform distribution throughout the concrete mix. Unlike traditional reinforcement elements that are installed separately, fibers are incorporated directly into the concrete, allowing the reinforcing material to be distributed across the entire volume of the structure. This makes fiber reinforcement a practical solution for large-scale concreting operations.
The use of Polymesh 38 mm and FiberMix 12 mm microfiber at the Shynnyi Technopark demonstrates how polypropylene fiber can be effectively integrated into modern industrial construction. The selected combination of fiber types and dosages is designed to address different stages and aspects of concrete performance, from controlling early microcracking to improving resistance to operational stresses.
For FiberMix, participation in this project is an opportunity to apply our fiber reinforcement solutions in a demanding real-world construction environment. It also demonstrates our focus on providing materials suitable for industrial floors, warehouses, production facilities, and other concrete structures where reliability and long service life are essential.
We are pleased to be part of a project that contributes to the development of modern industrial infrastructure in Dnipro and Ukraine. The experience gained through the construction of Shynnyi Technopark highlights the practical potential of polypropylene fiber reinforcement for creating durable and reliable concrete structures designed for intensive use.
